Historical architecture inspires enthusiasm precisely when distance from the past is bridged in a close encounter with the artifacts that populate our present. In that sense, we aim to make history graspable in our teaching and events – on field trips, visits to libraries and encounters with images and books both as physical objects or in the digital realm. We foster engaging discussions with contemporary architects, historians, and other guests to link the past and the present.
